DGF Course Introduction

Today, Information is at the heart of all organizations, like blood flowing body. However, too often Information is not professionally managed. Furthermore, the results of poorly managed information can be catastrophic from legal and regulatory sanctions to business collapse also it can be complicated to use data to drive business decisions.

This training course will provide a foundation to the topic of Data Governance by describing the drivers for Data Governance, including its purpose, outcome, organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, and activities for Data Governance. Moreover, the course will provide the rationale why Information Management is critical and provide methods and practices for addressing key Data Governance challenges and equip organizations to address the challenges that increased regulatory scrutiny brings and build a data-driven culture through data governance.
